Agricultural and Food Policy: Trajectories and Reforms Conference

The BIOGEA project was presented at the conference: Agricultural and food policy: trajectories and reforms (Politiques agricoles et alimentaires : trajectoires et réformes), organised by the French Society for the Rural Economy (Société française d’économie rurale - SFER) and held on 20-21 June, 2018 in Montpellier, France. The two-day conference focused on the future of agricultural and food policy and its impacts on wider society. Katrina Marsden, presented the work carried out in work package 2 analysing EU and national-level policies related to GBI and greening of the Common Agricultural Policy in the paper: Green and Blue Infrastructure (GBI) in an agricultural setting: can the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Greening support a GBI network in the agricultural landscape?. Following the two days of discussions, a third day was focused on the upcoming reform with the international Conference: The Future of the CAP L’avenir de la PAC. Here the European Commission and well-known CAP policy analysts discussed the European Commission’s proposals released 1 June 2018.
