The field survey for analysis of the local level implementation of CAP instruments has started in the six Case Study areas (CS) of BIOGEA project:

  • Western Stara planina - Bulgaria
  • Plovdiv-Pazardzhik - Bulgaria
  • Albstadt - Germany
  • Tauberbischofsheim - Germany
  • Iberian Dehesa in Extremadura - Spain
  • Dry cereal cropland in Castilla la Mancha - Spain

The survey is targeted at farmers as well as other stakeholders, such as regional agricultural services, advisory services, environmental institutions, NGOs, etc.

The survey process started in May and will continue up to July 2018 as part of the activities under Work package 3 of the BIOGEA project.

Thanks to the engagement of the survey participants and their willingness to share their experience and expertise, the research team will be able to analyse and compare the implementation of Greening on the ground in Bulgarian, German and Spanish regions. The results will be used to generate policy recommendations at regional, national and European level.
