First German workshop with stakeholders: Discussion on the impacts of greening on agriculture and biodiversity in Main-Tauber- und Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis
IFAB and adelphi presented the first results of the analysis of the BIOGEA project in the districts of Neckar-Odenwald- und Main-Tauber-Kreis in October to a small group of representatives from the agricultural administrators, farming representatives, farming advisors farmers, researchers and nature NGOs.
In 2017, landscape elements were mapped and biodiversity monitoring (birds and plants) was carried out in the two districts. Interviews were carried out in May to August 2018 examining the impacts of greening on green and blue infrastructure. The results of this work were cross checked with participants and feedback on the findings was gathered to feed into an analysis of the case study areas.
