The BIOGEA Project has released its second policy briefing on topic "Potential impacts of changes made to CAP Greening in 2017 on Green and Blue Infrastructures". The briefing describes in detail the changes that were made to greening in 2017 and how this could impact on GBI.

This deliverable gives an overview of the EU policy framework, examining how ten policy frameworks from a long list of seventeen are of relevance to GBI.

A Consortium meeting with the BIOGEA project partners was held on January 18-19, 2018 in Madrid, Spain with the kind hospitality of the National Museum of Natural Sciences. The project work plan for 2018 was discussed and agreed.

The BIOGEA project produced a briefing to describe what Green and Blue Infrastructures (GBI) is and its importance for reaching EU environmental policy goals.

The internal kick-off meeting for BIOGEA took place 24-25 January in Berlin. The project team discussed the first tasks for the project, the case studies and the communication and engagement planning.
