Data collection and storage
At various points, it is possible for you to voluntarily transmit personal data to us. This happens primarily when you are interested in information on our website. We only collect and store such data with your consent for this purpose.
Information, correction, barring and deletion
No personal data are forwarded, with the only exception of such data being forwarded on account of any legal obligations that may exist. You are entitled to request information at any time about the data we hold, the purpose of its storage and its origin. Furthermore, in accordance with the legal regulations, you have the right to the correction, barring and deletion of such personal data.
In order to broaden the range of functions of our online services and to make the use of our site more comfortable for you, we use what are referred to as cookies. Cookies are small files with configuration information, which help us to ascertain user-specific settings and to implement specific user functions. Cookies are not used to collect any personal data. This serves for our part as a safeguard, should a third party attempt to misuse your email address and to subscribe to the newsletter without your knowledge. This voluntary information (company/organisation, title, given and family name, and country) will be used in order to optimise our newsletter. The system furthermore gathers usage statistics regarding links you may follow and determines the geographical region from which access is being requested. It will not be possible for us to connect this information to a particular person. Further data will for our part not be collected. The data that we do gather in this way will be used exclusively in relation to our newsletter. No data will be passed on to a third party. Comparison with other data which may have been collected on other parts of our website will likewise not ensue. Subscription to this newsletter can be cancelled at any time.
